HARMAN, the premium global audio, infotainment and enterprise automation group (NYSE: HAR), introduces the next generation of high-performance loudspeakers with its JBL Arena series loudspeakers. Like the flagship JBL Everest DD67000, every JBL Arena model carries the lineage of the most legendary brand of loudspeakers – JBL. At an outstanding value, the JBL Arena series offers unrivaled JBL sound with its sophisticated new design.
„The JBL Arena models comprise a unique series of affordable JBL loudspeakers with the latest ultra-sleek design and advanced technological offerings,” said Michael Mauser, president of the HARMAN Lifestyle Division. „The series continues in a long tradition of high-class loudspeakers.”
The JBL Arena series features a complete range of loudspeakers, including a choice of two bookshelf and two floorstanding models complemented by the options of a center channel loudspeaker and a subwoofer. Each speaker offers a High Definition Imaging (HDI) waveguide design, which was derived from JBL M2 Master Reference professional monitors and considered by many to be the best recording studio monitor in the world. This technology provides astounding imaging, natural balance, and remarkable detail and accuracy at any position in the room. Computer-optimized drivers and crossover network integration deliver a lifelike, 3D soundstage backed by a powerful, deep bass response. This tight, extended bass response is maximized for the dynamic punch of modern movies, music and video games.
Not only is the JBL Arena series powerful, but also elegant and flexible in its design. Its style demonstrates certain simplicity with its contemporary cabinet shape. The angled side and top panels provide a sophisticated, modern look, with a clean soft-touch finish around each driver. Each loudspeaker is available in a choice of black or white finishes, with brushed metal trim detail on the grilles. This results in a clean, timeless look that blends easily with any decor. Speaker placement is equally important, which is why the Arena 120 bookshelf speakers are wall-mountable and can also be used as surround speakers.
