Sennheiser at IFA 2015
Discover Sennheiser’s latest audiophile and lifestyle headphones
Wedemark/Berlin, 3 September 2015 – For 70 years, the name Sennheiser has been synonymous with excellent sound and innovations that have set new standards in audio technology. At IFA 2015, the audio specialist showcases the latest highlights in its product portfolio. Visitors are invited to discover Sennheiser’s first closed-back audiophile headphone model, the recently launched HD 630VB which features a rotary bass dial for a customized bass experience. At the Sennheiser booth, visitors also get to experience the new generation of HD 400 series headphones, as well as Sennheiser’s acclaimed URBANITE and MOMENTUM lifestyle headphone ranges, including the new MOMENTUM In-Ear Black Chrome.
Audiophile sound with optional bass boost
With the closed-back audiophile HD 630VB headphones, audio specialist Sennheiser combines the brilliant sound of open audiophile models with excellent ambient noise attenuation. These headphones deliver an impressively spatial sound image, while allowing the users to enjoy their listening experience without any distractions. Specifically developed for the HD 630VB, Sennheiser’s proprietary high-performance transducer is the “heart” of this model. It delivers the power for an intense bass experience that can be customized via a rotary bass dial according to the listening environment, the music being played, and the user’s individual preferences.
Experience MOMENTUM, EISA’s “European Headphones 2015-2016”
Building on the success of its predecessor, the second generation of Sennheiser’s MOMENTUM series ensures extra wearing comfort and folding headband designs for even greater portability. For their unique combination of uncompromised performance, pure design, and the finest, luxurious materials, the over-ear model MOMENTUM 2 has just been honored with the “European Headphones 2015-2016” award by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA).
For ultimate freedom on the move, the MOMENTUM series has been expanded with the launch of the MOMENTUM Wireless and MOMENTUM On-Ear Wireless earlier this year. Both models include NFC technology to quickly pair Bluetooth devices, while the advanced Active Noise Cancellation technology and 22 hour battery life make them the perfect headphones for a superior listening experience on the move.
At Sennheiser’s IFA booth, the audio specialist will also showcase the acclaimed MOMENTUM In-Ear in the new Black Chrome colour variant, the newest member of the MOMENTUM family. Beautifully crafted from the highest quality materials, the ear-canal phones feature class-leading proprietary transducer technology that delivers the acclaimed MOMENTUM sound performance in the smallest, most compact form.
URBANITE XL WIRELESS for club sound on the move
Another highlight at the Sennheiser booth will be the URBANITE XL WIRELESS, enhancing the audio specialist’s URBANITE range with cutting-edge wireless technology. Using Bluetooth 4.0, the URBANITE XL WIRELESS offers easy connectivity, with the ability to pair with up to eight devices. Great audio quality is delivered in true URBANITE style – with a deep bass and crystal clear trebles. The URBANITE XL WIRELESS also features an innovative, highly-intuitive touch panel interface on the right ear cup that lets users control volume, music playback and calls using the optional inline mic with a tap or slide of a finger.
Next generation of HD 400 series: Fine audio quality and smart, durable design
At IFA 2015, Sennheiser launches the next generation of its HD 400 series of over-ear headphones. Combining fine audio quality with contemporary style and robust design, the range includes the closed-back HD 451, HD 461 and HD 471 models. The headphones keep the listener isolated from ambient noise, while lightweight and durable designs ensure the freedom to enjoy music anywhere. Powered by Sennheiser’s proprietary neodymium magnets, all three models deliver excellent stereo sound, while catering to different sound preferences. The HD 451 and HD 461 models feature powerful bass, whereas the HD 471 offers a more balanced, lifelike sound experience.
